David L. Boren Awards for International Study

Villanova University junior Jerisa Upton is going to study abroad at Peking University in China using her Boren Scholarship. She began studying Chinese independently in seventh grade and is now a global interdisciplinary studies major and Chinese studies minor. In the future she hopes to pursue a master's degree and to become a diplomat or political analyst.
