Boren Scholarship Awarded to UO Student

University of Oregon (UO) student, Ming Canaday, has received a Boren Scholarship to study in China for a year. Ming is a Chinese Flagship student earning a double major in International Relations and Chinese Languages and Literature. As an ambassador for Mobility International USA (MIUSA), Ming is particularly interested in helping Chinese disabled people lead more productive lives. During her time in China, Ming will be studying Chinese and International Studies at Nanjing University and also interning at the Guangzhou English Training College for the Handicapped (GETCH).
