David L. Boren Awards for International Study

Miles Atkinson, a rising senior at Clemson University, received two scholarships to study abroad in Russia this year. Miles received the U.S. Department of State's Critical Language Scholarship for the summer and the Boren Scholarship for the full academic year. In the future he hopes to use his language skills and cultural understanding to become a Foreign Service Officer.
