Savin Ven Johnson, a student at the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs, was awarded a Boren Fellowship. She will study at the Graduate School of International Development and Cooperation at Hiroshima University in pursuit of her master's degree in Environment and Resource Economics. “My research focuses on Japan’s foreign aid and energy development strategies for low carbon energy sources in Southeast Asia,” said Savin. “I feel fortunate to have this prestigious fellowship.”
