Two students from Indiana University in Bloomington (IUB), Kirsten Douglass and Timothy Hoffelder, have been awarded 2012 Boren Scholarships.
Kirsten, an International Studies and Near Eastern Languages and Cultures major, will study in Amman, Jordan.
Timothy, who is majoring in Linguistics and French, will spend the academic year in Tanzania with the Swahili Language Flagship program.
