David L. Boren Awards for International Study

A student from the University of South Carolina (USC), Kathryn Miles, has been awarded a 2012 Boren Scholarship to study in Nanjing, China.  Kathryn is currently a junior and is earning majors in dance performance and political science.  She plans to study Chinese language and culture at Nanjing University for the academic year.

Kathryn was recently profiled by the USC Department of Theatre and Dance.
