USF President Gives $1 Million for Study Abroad

The University of South Florida’s president, Judy Genshaft, and her husband, Steven Greenbaum, are giving $1 million to support USF students to study abroad. According to a university news release, the five-year pledge will create an endowment that, with matching funds from the state, will be worth $1.75-million. Students will be selected to receive awards from the Passport Scholars Fund based on how study abroad would further their educational goals
