The 2010 Flagship Fellowship application will be available online in fall 2009. To apply for a Flagship Fellowship, one must submit a complete application including an essay, three letters of recommendation, and transcripts from all institutions of higher education attended. Applicants will submit the application and letters of reference through an online application module. Transcripts must be mailed. All application requirements must be received by the Institute of International Education no later than January 14, 2010.
In addition to the above requirements, all Flagship Fellowship applicants must concurrently prepare a separate application for admission to a designated graduate Flagship Program. The Flagship Program to which one has applied will test the language competencies of appropriate applicants as part of their admissions processes. If you have questions regarding the Flagship Program’s application procedures, please contact the program directly.
[NOTE: Each Flagship Institution has its own admissions process. Flagship Fellowship applicants must apply to and be admitted to a Flagship Program in order to be eligible for Fellowship funding. Admission to a Flagship institution does not guarantee Flagship Fellowship funding.]
