About Chris:
Chris Crews was a 2017 Boren Fellow to Kazakhstan where he studied Russian and conducted research about great power competition in Central Asia. Chris attended the University of Chicago where he received his Master's in International Relations. He fulfilled his service at the Department of State where he currently works as a Foreign Affairs Officer. In 2023, he served as a mentor for the National Security Education Program (NSEP) Boren Mentorship Program.
