About Garvey:

Garvey McIntosh was a 2001 Boren Fellow to Vietnam where he studied Vietnamese and economic policy. He received his Master's in International Affairs and International Policy Studies from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey in 2003. Garvey served the U.S. federal government for 20 years at the National Aeronautics Space Administration (NASA). For six of those years, he served as the NASA Attaché at the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo. He currently works as the Senior Director for International Government Business at Axiom Space.

"Boren provided me with a chance to work at NASA and pursue a career beyond my wildest dreams. Working at NASA, I have traveled to over 30 countries negotiating and concluding agreements on behalf of the U.S. Government and also had the opportunity to work at the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo. None of this would have been possible without Boren."
